Apple (AAPL) to Add Games in April

In April, Apple AAPL will introduce a variety of fascinating titles to Apple Arcade, guaranteeing unlimited amusement for gamers across Apple devices. Puyo Puyo Puzzle Pop, Crossy Road Castle, and Solitaire Stories, all tailored for Apple Vision Pro, are highlights

Puyo Puyo Puzzle Pop revives the renowned Japanese franchise after nearly a decade. This Apple Arcade-exclusive game features a novel storyline, 24 playable characters, and thrilling real-time multiplayer combat for up to four players. SEGA's game reinvents the matching puzzle genre that has captured gamers worldwide.

Crossy Road Castle, a Hipster Whale collaboration, expands spatial gaming. Players use smart hand gestures to climb an unending tower in a fascinating adventure. Friends may team together to beat dynamic levels with surprises on Apple devices with multiplayer.

Since the launch of Apple Vision Pro, the iPhone maker has focused on entertaining customers with Arcade-specific spatial games compatible with the latest technology. Apple Vision Pro uses visionOS, a novel three-dimensional user interface and input system controlled by eyes, hands, and voice, to create unique spatial experiences.

In mid-February, Apple released Vision Pro games Game Room, WHAT THE GOLF?, Cut the Rope 3, Jetpack Joyride 2, Patterned, Illustrated, Wylde Flowers, stich., Synth Riders, LEGO Builder's Journey, Bloons TD 6+, and Super Fruit Ninja. The future games could help Apple gain Vision Pro users.

Apple has struggled with smartphone competition and weak Chinese demand, hurting iPhone sales. The iPhone still drives top-line growth for the corporation. The iPhone accounted for 58.3% of sales in Q1 2024.

The increased popularity of the App Store and Apple TV+ has made services a big top-line contributor. Services revenues rose 11.3% to $23.12 billion in the fiscal first quarter, accounting for 19.3% of sales.

After eliminating the $5 billion collected due to pent-up demand for iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro Max, Apple forecasts March quarter (second-quarter fiscal 2024) revenues and iPhone revenues to be equal to the year-ago quarter.
