Cara Delevingne's LA mansion burns down.

Los Angeles — Friday, a fire gutted model and actress Cara Delevingne's Los Angeles home. According to Nicholas Prange, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Fire Department, one firefighter was sent to a hospital in a fair condition with injuries that were not specifically mentioned. Additionally, one individual from the house, who remains unnamed, suffered from mild smoke inhalation.

Once TMZ learned that the property in the Studio City neighborhood that was consumed by flames before morning belonged to Delevingne, she took to Instagram stories to mention the fire. It would appear that Delevingne was absent from her residence due to her engagement in a West End production of "Cabaret" in London.

According to Prange, firefighters arrived at the two-story residence to discover a fire that had damaged a room in the rear and had spread to the attic. Firefighters established defensive positions after evacuating everyone from the residence, and the roof eventually gave way. More than two hours passed before the fire was extinguished.

Delevingne uploaded a video of a street lined with flashing fire trucks many hours later. An further Instagram story expressed profound gratitude to the firefighters and those who had come to provide a hand.

"My heart is broken today. I cannot believe it. Life can change in the blink of an eye. Cherish what you have." accompanied a picture of two kitties in a third Instagram story. She went on to say in a subsequent post that the fire did not harm her cats.

This house is identical to another that appeared in Architectural Digest in 2021. In 1941, the Von der Ahe family—founders of the Vons grocery chain—had their white brick mansion constructed. It had two pools and a backyard with two trampolines.

A ball pit, poker and billiard rooms, a tribute to David Bowie in the toilet, a costume room for dress-up parties—all of these whimsical touches were added by Delevingne and her designer. A "bad day" for Delevingne is "just hopping in the ball pit," she told the magazine. No one should ever weep in a ball pit, right?

An investigation into the matter was underway. After gaining fame as a fashion model in the 2010s, the 31-year-old London native Delevingne started starring in films including "Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets"(2017) and "Suicide Squad" (2016), both produced by DC Comics.

Aside from her 2022 appearance on Hulu's "Only Murders in the Building" alongside Martin Short, Selena Gomez, and Steve Martin, she made an appearance on FX's "American Horror Story" from 2023.
