The BMW M5 from 2025?

Is a concert without crowd pleasant? Next-generation BMW M5 will have thrilling powertrain in July 2024. Although the seventh generation's XM SUV plug-in hybrid complicates it, the electrical engineering degree produces 735 horsepower and 735 lb-ft.

The most powerful 5-series, the M5, will add several hundred pounds and need stronger brakes and rear-wheel steering. Replicating the M5 CS's 627 horsepower V-8 on the fuel-burning side would increase the current generation's 2.8-second 0-60 mph. Too far out from July 2024 debut to provide all specs, but we'll update.

BMW is making a hot M5 replacement. In July 2024, the M division's fastest car will have 735 hp and 735 lb-ft. Four electric motors aid. M5 will remain a sedan but may be a Touring wagon in North America. Powertrain like the plug-in hybrid XM Label Red SUV.

EV range is 60 miles for the BMW M5 at 87 mph. It will seem new with contemporary machinery under its shining sheet metal. M5 will have 22-inch wheels, rear-wheel steering, and bigger brakes. Before its 2024 debut, BMW will divulge more.

PHEV powertrain from the 735-hp XM Label Red SUV may provide 735 lb-ft of torque to all four wheels in the next-gen M5. BMW M5's lithium-ion battery pack and 4.4-liter twin-turbo V-8 gas engine generate power. The M5 should have an eight-speed automatic like the XM Label Red. The gasoline-only M5 reached 60 mph in 2.8 secondswithout electric motors.

BMW's 25.7-kWh battery may power the upcoming plug-in hybrid M5, which shares most of its powertrain with the XM. We predict 60 miles of electric range and 87 mph top speed till the battery charges. The XM's 7.4 kW charger and battery can charge the M5 100% in three hours.

BMW's fully electric i4 and iX have updated interiors. The rocket ship-like M5 will have heated and ventilated seats, configurable ambient lighting, and entertainment gesture control. PHEV components in the M5 may limit luggage and passenger space because the battery and electric engine must go somewhere, but 700 horsepower fans won't care. C

We believe the M5 will sport BMW's latest iDrive 8 software on a massive curved display that covers two-thirds of the dashboard, however official details have yet to be announced. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto should be standard, along with wireless smartphone charging, Sirius XM satellite radio, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a premium audio system.
